ROAD is a two-way platform: it documents and develops architectural research projects.
Founded as the Center for Research on Architectural Design (ROAD) at the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, Australia, by Luis Feduchi in 2011.
Since 2018, ROAD has been based in Berlin and Galicia. It organizes workshops in typological research and produces architectural publications, exhibitions, and documentary films.
.
ROAD is also a scouting and consulting agency for investors, public entities, and owners of abandoned or derelict buildings.
In practice, ROAD focuses on heritage architecture, museums and archives, developing projects to renovate and reuse certain architectural typologies.
