Arquia-ROAD Grants 2025 

 

Since 2023, the Arquia Foundation has supported the summer workshops organized by ROAD in Galicia through its Training Grants Program. 

 

From July 4 to 19, 2025, ROAD will hold the 3rd edition of its workshop Typological On-Site Investigations – As Pallozas de Piornedo, focusing on the palloza, a traditional stone-and-thatch dwelling in Serra dos Ancares, Lugo, Galicia. 

 

This year’s workshop is organized in collaboration with Asociación Ser, an association founded by filmmaker Oliver Laxe, dedicated to rural protection and revitalization. 

 

The Arquia Foundation will provide two Training Grants, covering tuition, room and board, travel expenses, and insurance. ROAD will oversee the workshop and guide the practical training of the grant recipients.
